Assist high level specialist with decommissioning and listed servers * audit purposes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigation of any configuration related anomalies. Taking corrective actions as per case by case, provide investigation and escalation to high level specialist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform bulk loads of CI data relevant to the area of responsibility, new and updates, as required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interact with vendors when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manipulate and extract data from various sources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position: Intermediate class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/strong>:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Matric (Grade 12)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diploma\/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4\u20136 years\u2019 experience in data management, backup, and recovery engineering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-depth knowledge and 2+ years of experience in Veritas NetBackup Data Protection product suites<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-depth knowledge and 2+ years of experience in Dell EMC Data Protection product suites<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical and\/or professional certification with one of Data Protection and Recovery Tools (Veritas NetBackup and EMC Networker essential)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good network knowledge and experience (essential)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>ROLE REQUIREMENT<\/strong><\/strong>:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Administer, configure, and maintain Veritas NetBackup and Dell EMC Networker environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform daily operational checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure successful backups and recoveries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement and support backup configurations across Windows, Linux, Solaris, SQL, Oracle, and VMware environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execute recovery procedures to meet customer requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage cloning, replication, and cloud-based backup integrations (e.g., DDVE).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4
