Position: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT- AUTHENTICATION SERVICES

Requirements are:
• The most eligible candidate must hold an appropriate recognised qualification at NQF Level 5 in education, or administration or human / social sciences, or equivalent on the 10 Level NQF.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in administration with data capturing or information management is required.
• More than two years of experience in administration with data capturing or information management will be an added advantage.
• The incumbent must have a good knowledge of data management, dealing with enquiries in writing and verbal on multiple levels.
• Computer Literacy, time management, problem-solving, attention to detail and good written and verbal communication should be the strengths of those aspiring for this appointment.
Key performance areas:
• Undertake verification activities as assigned.
• Help to keep information sources / reference materials up to date, known and accessible.
• Undertake activities that show awareness of and sensitivity to client needs and a sense of urgency to meet these appropriately.
• Ensure smooth transfer of registered applications by administering the daily receipt and checking of these against a register and create the necessary electronic audit trails.
• Attend to client enquiries and complaints and redirect to the relevant role players to be addressed.
• Attend to client enquiries, walk-in clients and telephone enquiries related to the field.
• Render the required support to facilitate clients’ needs related to authentication services which include client services.
Position: PRACTITIONER- VERIFICATIONS

Requirements are:
• The most eligible candidate must hold an appropriate recognised qualification at NQF Level 6 on the 10 Level NQF in Administration, Education, Human or Social Sciences.
• An NQF Level 7 qualification on the 10 Level NQF in Administration, Education, Human or Social Sciences will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of four years of experience in administration or education is required.
• At least two years of experience is required in working with large relational databases together with data capturing or information management.
• More than four years of experience in administration or education or two years of experience in verification of qualifications and evaluation of foreign qualifications will be an added advantage.
• The incumbent must have a good knowledge of qualification verifications standards and procedures.
• Computer literacy, time management, problem-solving, attention to detail and good written and verbal communication should be the strengths of those aspiring for this appointment.
Key performance areas:
• Undertake verification of complex applications and high-level appointments.
• Assist in establishing resource links with national information partners in the verification field.
• Attend to standard client queries received via phone or email, in accordance with processes and procedures. Escalate non-standard queries to the Verification Specialist when required.
• Maintain professional working relationships with clients.
• Complete the necessary administration and quality checks to facilitate ease of further review and conclusion.
• Capture client interaction information for continuous improvement of the service.
• Render the required support to facilitate clients’ needs related to authentication services.
Position: Systems Development Specialist
Closing date: 3 September 2024
Requirements are:
• The most eligible candidate must hold an appropriate recognised qualification in Information Technology, Software Development, Computer science or equivalent at NQF Level 6 on the 10 Level NQF or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development is required (PHP, .NET, SQL, MySQL and Oracle).
• An NQF Level 7 qualification on the 10-Level NQF with more than 3 years of experience in software development (including the following: restful service, DevOps pipelines, Web API’s, Azure, SharePoint / Power Platform) would be advantageous.
• The incumbent must have a good knowledge of IT laws and regulations, information systems and technology principles, digitisation and trends in IT, IT architecture, IT security, data management, and system design.
• Problem-solving, project management, networking, and building alliances should be the skills of those aspiring for this appointment.
Key performance areas:
• Identify problem areas and implement solutions according to set specifications and accepted standards.
• Provide/install application systems as and when required by users in terms of policies and procedures.
• Provide software and hardware upgrades according to the organisation needs.
• Provide ad hoc user support and training to enhance information systems applications.
• Resolve user’s problems associated with the usage of information systems Applications.
