Position: Pro Fitness Instructor

requirements:
  • 1-2 years in the Fitness industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge on fitness and physical training.
  • First aid qualified
  • MS Office; Outlook, Internet, Word and Excel intermediate.
  • Ability to balance the demands of work and personal commitments
  • Ability to make quick but balanced decisions
  • Ability to welcome new members and convert interested leads into new members
  • Commercial and business awareness
Key Performance Areas include:
  • Conduct group classes
  • Perform reception duties such as answering phone calls and handling member queries
  • Ensure you attend scheduled weekly training and meetings as well as Reception weekly training
  • Stay up to date with all Company communication and policy and procedures
  • Achieve targets by collecting arrears, correct receipting and being fully compliant with all drop safe processes
  • Comply with Health and Safety and Club Operating procedures
  • Ensure the safe and effective operation of your club, keeping facility downtime to a minimum

Position: Senior Quality Assurance

  • Matric essential
  • 2 Years’ experience in Business Administration
  • Compliance experience and/or training
  • Computer literacy
  • Excel intermediate
  • MS Office; Word and Outlook
  • Attention to Detail;
  • High level of honesty and integrity;
responsibilities:
  • Report all deviations from Business Rules;
  • Manual contracts: Audit manual contracts from clubs (QCONTACT);
  • Credit Notes: Audit all Financial adjustments from clubs (QCONTACT);
  • DBA: Audit any request to make changes on the membership (QCONTACT);
  • Invalid contracts: Audit and cancel all invalid contracts from the club (QCONTACT);
  • Auditing all functions from Central Admin;
  • Report any concerns to the National Business Admin Manager
  • Identify areas of training and ensure guidance and/or assistance
  • Where continual areas of concern are identified, identify the risk and report it.

Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Roodepoort

requirements:
  • Proven general maintenance work experience (preferably experience with repairs and maintenance of gym and related equipment
  • Must be able to carry out responsibilities in accordance with Planet Fitness values, policies and procedures and stipulated Health & Safety regulations
  • Use initiative to resolve queries
  • Must be flexible and adaptable
  • Basic PC literacy
  • Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels
  • Must be able to work
Key Performance Areas include:
  • Ensure all maintenance stock, tools and equipment are correctly protected at all times
  • Keep stock secure and primary keys controlled
  • Keep and hand in all relevant administration and documents to management (checklists, reports, invoices, etc.)
  • Deliver all tasks and deadlines as stipulated by the inspection list, daily action list and preventative maintenance list as required by management
  • Provide club management with feedback and progress on maintenance issues daily
  • Comply to compulsory health and safety guidelines within all areas of the club
