Requirements:
Education
- National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Radiography
- HPCSA registration as a Radiographer
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Radiographer
Advantageous
- Six (6) months experience in a Supervisory position

Responsibilities:
- Keep accurate patient records including recording radiation dose and exposure factors.
- Provides support and reassurance to patients who may be unwell or have barriers to understanding.
- Develop a sound knowledge of the equipment used to be aware of malfunctions and errors and to report them.
- Participate in the district/sub-district and facility development of operational plans for the deployment of the mobile DCXR.
- Maintain effective working relationships with outreach teams and facility staff.
- Liaise with the Radiologist/Medical officer for diagnostic and technical advice and support.
- Support referral and linkage to care for incidental CXR findings not requiring presumptive TB testing.
- Work with the team to ensure that all data is collected and verified to ensure data quality.
- Set up and prepare for daily activities.

Education
- High School diploma/Gr 12 (NQF Level 4)
Advantageous
- Certification as a Community Health care worker
other requirements:
- Experience in health promotion and health education
- Ability to operate a mobile device.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good counselling skills
- Valid code A Driver’s license
- Valid Professional Drivers Permit (PDP)
- Understanding of specimen handling and transportation
- Fluency in local languages (Zulu, Setswana, English, SeSotho, Xhosa, Afrikaans)
- Practical experience with Road Legislation
- SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
- Willing to work overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized assistance to patients to help them enrol or re-engage in medical care.
- Together with case managers and clinical staff, support patients throughout the early part of their care so they participate fully, become educated, and can advocate for themselves.
- Help patients to develop confidence in their participation in TB treatment.
- Work with case managers to assist patients in identifying services to address other aspects of their life that affect their health, such as mental health and substance abuse treatment, domestic violence services, housing programmes, education and employment.
- Co-facilitate support groups and create patient linkage to psychosocial support.
- Comply with all programme protocols, including those regarding confidentiality of patient information.
- Compiling and capturing of daily, weekly, and monthly stats
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by line manager.

Experience
