Position: Project Coordinators (3 posts)

Location: North West

Closing date: 27 June 2025.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Artisan (machining/boiler making/welding)
  • National Diploma in Project Management and or Diploma in Engineering would be an added advantage.
  • General computer literate to at least intermediate level (Windows, MS Project, MS Word and Excel)
  • Minimum 5 Years Administrative Experience, with atleast 1-2 years experience in project coordination.
Key Performance Areas:      
  • Request of quotations for material, Items and / or services.
  • Placement of orders on the Necsa workflow system.
  • Declaring invoices for payment.
  • Register of new projects on the project management database, ensure that all required supporting documents are received, i.e. project scope, budget, timescale, project members/resources, and that a project authorisation form is generated. Request and allocate the project’s financial code to complete the registration of the project on the relevant systems.
  • Maintain all the projects listed on the project management database, e.g. by adding or changing project members or making any other changes as requested by the Manager.
  • Project review meetings:
  • Prepare and distribute agendas of meetings;

Position: Quality Control Inspector

Location: North West

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • National Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
  • SAIW LEVEL II Inspectors certification.
  • SAIW LEVEL III Inspectors certification will be an added advantage.
  • ASME Codes of Manufacture, and The National Board Inspection Code. (SAIW)
  • Pressure vessel competent Inspector.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality control environment. (Fabrication of components for the Nuclear Industry)
  • Conduct Dimensional inspection on machined components, making use of precision measuring equipment. (Metrology)
Key Performance Areas:                    
  • Perform Receiving Inspection on material & components/items received, for compliance with TDS and relevant manufacturing code requirements.
  • Perform Visual & Dimensional Inspection on Welded Fabrications, Machined Components/Items as per drawing, Weld/NDE Map requirements.
  • Responsible for generation/verifying that all results of QC / NDE inspections are correctly documented, and incorporated into Quality Assurance Data Packs compiled according to client requirements as projects progress.
  • Ensure that products which does not conform to code/drawing/TDS requirements are segregated, and Non-Conformance Reports generated, and followed-up until close out.
  • Perform wall thickness tests, internal inspection, and witnessing of pressure/leak tests on tanks, vessels & piping on the Necsa site.
  • Perform Inspection at the premises of service providers responsible for Material supply, Mechanical Testing, Heat Treatment, and Machining of components.
  • Responsible for verifying measuring equipment against reference standards, to ensure the integrity thereof. Monitor and request equipment to be calibrated prior to calibration expiry date/period.

Position: Quality Supervisor

Location: North West

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or applicable technical field.
  • Certificates & extensive knowledge in  Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Management System & Environmental Management System.
  • Lead Auditor/Auditor Training.
  • Advanced Metrology.
  • Radiographic Testing Level 01.

Experience: 

  • 8 years experience in quality assurance in a highly regulated environment.
  • 8 years experience in dimensional inspection and non-destructive examination.
  • 5 years experience as an auditor and lead auditor
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:  
  • Review and update Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 documents consisting of policy, objectives, procedures, work instructions, inspection instructions, and quality plans to ensure that process changes, engineering changes, customer requirements and changes are accurately documented.
  • Implementation and maintenance of the QHSE management programme in accordance with the ISO 9001/14001 and OHSAS 45001 and code of practice.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys by distributing questionnaires to customers and report the number of responses and ratings (i.e. satisfied/not satisfied) as well as recommend improvements based on results to ensure an increase in customer satisfaction.
  • All functions and tasks as required for management QA Representative
  • Plan and Co-ordinate Management Reviews.

Position: Training Officer- Electrical 

Location: Pretoria

Closing date: 02 July 2025.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • 3 years’ experience as a Qualified Electrical or Millwright Artisan (Red seal)
  • 3 years’ experience as a Facilitator and Trade Testing.
  • Registered Assessor with NAMB or any Seta. 
  • Registered Moderator with NAMB or any Seta
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Prepare appropriate and relevant training equipment for programmes offered.

• Prepare training plan for the course content and ensure that there is sufficient training material and other relevant documentation in support of the offered course.

• Prepare and supply assessment material for the offered course.

• Ensure that all administration associated with the offered course or assessment is completed and submitted to all relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare presentations for facilitations of offered courses according to the approved curriculum.

• Ensure that all training always achieves the set outcomes of the programme.

• Mentor, coach and guide all learners whilst training to ensure the achievement of positive outcomes in terms of results.

Position: Programme Manager X2

Location: Pretoria

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Relevant technical qualification degree BSc or B-Tech  Engineering
  • Project Management Certificate (PMP, PRINCE2) will be an advantage.

Experience: 

  • 2 – 3 years proven track record of successful delivery of multi-disciplinary programme management.
Key Performance Areas:   
  • Develop systems that enable the implementation and execution of various Programme;
  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects in line with Necsa’s strategic objectives and plan;
  • Develop and maintain relations with key government departments and other key industry role players to ensure effective Stakeholder Relations Management for the projects; and
  • Provide a support function to the Senior Manager in implementing executive and Board decisions relating to all strategic projects
  • Manage the collection and analysis of client & stakeholder’s requirements.
  • Identify, acquire and manage programme management team.
  • Develop the programme risk, configuration, quality & communication management strategies in line with Necas’s requirements.
