Position: Senior Specialist/ Manager- Compliance Risk

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Accounting, Auditing or Taxation AND a minimum of 8 years experience in a Risk Profiling, Audit, Tax Advisory or Consulting environment of which a minimum of 3 years are at an Operational Specialist level.

OR

Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 15 years’ experience in a Risk Profiling, Audit, Tax Advisory or Consulting environment of which a minimum of 3 years are at an Operational Specialist level.

Job Outputs:
  • Apply functional area policies in order to enhance unit’s ability to advise business in complex field and or professional discipline.
  • Understand the system and the underlying principles supporting the overall business process.
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance specific to a complex field and or professional discipline.
  • Undertake information gathering, research and analyse data within broad guidelines to produce accurate plans & or recommendations for business issues.
  • Analyse and make recommendations about improvements to specialist systems, procedures and associated area’s practice.
  • Contribute to the optimum utilisation of org. resources, advising on effective planning and development of area of specialisation resource plans.
  • Develop a single practice area in alignment with operational activity and procedural frameworks and ensure tactical implementation.
  • Draw on own technical or professional expertise, knowledge & experience to identify & recommend tactical solutions to defined problems in practices.

Position: Manager- Legal Delivery

B. Law (LLB), and an Admitted Attorney and 8-10 years’ experience in a Tax Legal delivery environment of which 3-4 years ideally at junior management level.

Or

Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 15 years Legal Tax delivery experience of which 3-4 years ideally at junior management level.

Job Outputs:
  • Oversee the efficient utilisation of private counsel
  • Oversee the advice on alternative dispute resolution cases.
  • Conduct assessments and use information to advise, make recommendations and facilitate improvement.
  • Plan for handling work outputs, pull together interdependent activities & specify priorities, standards & procedures to ensure tactical implementation.
  • Recommend changes to optimise processes, systems, policies and procedures, and execute the implementation of change and innovation initiated by the organisation.
  • Use the insights gained through integrated business reports to measure success & realign tactical strategy implementation objectives appropriately.
  • Timeously communicate top down policy and associated single practice area modification, objective achievement progress and critical success factors to impacted stakeholders.

Position: Specialist-Developer (ReactJS and C#)

Location:Head Office Pretoria

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

Relevant Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Information Technology AND 5-7 years’ experience in aSoftware Development Environment, of which 2-3 years ideally at functional specialist level

OR

Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and a relevant IT Qualification(s) / Certification(s), see below, and 5-7 years’ experience in a  Software Development environment.

Relevant Certification – such as or any other Technology supported by the SARS Enterprise Architecture Framework

  • Microsoft Certified Solution Developer with skills in C#
  • Formal training in web development including REACTJS.

ALTERNATIVE #

Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 10 years experience in web-based development.

Minimum Functional Requirements:
  • 3+ Years of application development experience, preferably within the Microsoft .Net space, including at least 1 year working with MS SQL or IBM DB2.
  • At least 2 years of experience with ReactJS, Redux or similar, JavaScript and or TypeScript.
  • A resonable understanding of Git Repository Management, preferably via a command-line interface.
  • Hands-on experience in both Traditional and Agile software development methodologies.
Job Outputs:
  • Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Apply practical and applied knowledge and act authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures to identify trends and potential risks. \
  • Communication of situational interpretation and judgement of work outputs and queries in area of specialisation.
  • Correctly apply policies, practices, standards, procedures and legislation in the delivery of work outputs.
  • Draw on own knowledge and experience to diagnose symptoms, causes and possible effects in order to solve emerging problems.
  • Initiate process and procedural change, implement the change and provide guidelines and support related to new requirements as a result of the change.
  • Plan for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services to deliver on operational strategy and objectives.
  • Execute specialist input through investigation &opportunities within the product process including risk concern.
