responsibilities:
- Achieve competency in accounting and financial reporting
- Ensure Financial systems supports business needs
- Prepare accurate, timely management accounts in accordance with IRFS and input from
- the finance department monthly, quarterly and annually
- Prepare the trail balance in accordance with the financial management strategies and
- policies
- Conduct monthly general ledger account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance in line with policy and procedures
- Supply departmental income statements to departments in line with established policies and procedures
- Handle financial management queries raised or delegate to appropriate staff
Position: Training Officer-Electrical and Instrumentation
Location: Pretoria

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12
- 3 years’ experience as Qualified Electrical and Instrumentation Artisan (Red seal)
- 3 years’ experience as a Facilitator and Trade Testing
- Registered Assessor with NAMB or any Seta
- Registered Moderator with NAMB or any Seta
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Prepare appropriate and relevant training equipment for programmes offered.
- Prepare training plan for the course content and ensure that there is sufficient training material and other relevant documentation in support of the offered course.
- Prepare and supply assessment material for the offered course.
- Ensure that all administration associated with the offered course or assessment is completed and submitted to all relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations for facilitations of offered courses according to the approved curriculum.
- Ensure that all training always achieves the set outcomes of the programme.
- Mentor, coach and guide all learners whilst training to ensure the achievement of positive outcomes in terms of results.
- Monitor the welfare of learners during training and liaise with relevant stakeholders to attend to their identified need to ensure holistic approach to training.
Position: Safety Officer
Location: North West

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent.
- Professional registration (e.g. Construction Health and Safety Officer) will be an added advantage.
- At least three (3) years in the implementation of SHEQ systems.
- The following would be advantageous:
– Formal safety management courses such as SAMTRAC and/or Occupational, Hygiene certificate; and
– Knowledge of quality management software.
Key Performance Areas:
- Assist line management in ensuring compliance to the SHEQ system w.r.t. Occupational Hygiene and Industrial Safety.
- Report Industrial Safety and Occupational Hygiene matters to management, senior Safety Officer and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist to develop, implement and monitor safety control measures and tools to prevent safety risks and hazards in the workplace
- Participate and approve Risk Assessments. Observe all high-risk activities and stop all unsafe acts and conditions.
- Present training on facility conventional safety programme (e.g. procedures, forms, templates and registers.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of suitable contractor(s) based on their competencies, knowledge and resources to carryout project work or construction work safely.
- Assist in the preparation of contract documentation related to construction health and safety requirements (e.g. Section 37(1) Agreements).
Position: Environmental Officer
Location: North West

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- National Diploma in Environmental management/ Environmental Science/Environmental Health or equivalent.
- ISO 9001 Lead Audit/ Implementation and Internal Audit certification will be an added advantage.
- Approximately 3 – 5 years relevant experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment with experience in developing and continuous compliance to ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management systems.
- Minimum 4 years ISO 14001:2015 internal audit experience or exposure.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Establishment, implementation and maintenance of IMS documents (as per ISO 14001:2015)
- Schedule and conduct internal risk assessments audits and job observations / self assessments of on operational tasks to ensure compliance to license and operational requirements
- Monitor environmental compliance on to current policies, procedures, registers, legislation and regulation.
- Continuous monitoring of updates in legislation that might impact procedures, policies, permits and licensing. Communicate to process owners and management
- Provide training and awareness programs for plant personnel on environmental best practices.
- Attend Environmental Forum/permit meetings
- Renew and apply environmental licensing / permits before expiration
