Position: Assurance Engineer

Location:
Midrand, Gauteng

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • B-Tech degree Electrical or Electronic Engineering or IT related degree
  • 3 – 5 years’ work experience in telecoms industry specific to Transmission Assurance (Maintenance) and Transmission Systems
  • Minimum 5 years exposure in troubleshooting large IP/MPLS networks
  • CCNA in Routing and Switching essential with CCNP advantageous
  • Symmetric, Nokia and application thereof
ROLE REQUIREMENT:
  • Provide transmission assurance support to and from Field Force Outsource for Edge and Access infrastructure
  • Effectively communicate status of service outages and escalate as per established Vendor support and escalation matrix.
  • Ensure that all faults are fixed within the relevant SLA.
  • To use reports from OSS platforms to identify issues and failures that need corrective action.
  • Provide transmission assurance support to Operations, NMG & EBU Edge and Access infrastructure
  • Liaise with vendors and fibre providers for resolution of the network faults within the agreed timelines
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for proactive support for global customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Commercial degree or equivalent qualification would be essential
8-10 years’ experience in the ICT, Telco or ISP related services industry
5 years management experience

ROLE REQUIREMENT:

Provide solution and product specific consultation and support
Configuration and setup of Networking devices to be deployed on the Vodacom Network
Direct impact on Support and contract deliverable.
Assume responsibility for the following:
Ensure devices are configured correctly for deployment
Ensure devices are ready for shipment in time for scheduled deployment
Manage regional support stock levels
Attend and advise solution scoping meetings
Design and deploy cisco switch configurations

Position: Senior Specialist- Cybersecurity Incident Management

Location: Midrand, Gauteng

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • One or more of these industry Cybersecurity Certifications: such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or relevant vendor-specific certifications
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 4+ years of direct experience in an established SOC.Analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, incident response methodologies, and defense-in-depth practices.
  • Proficiency in analyzing log files, conducting trend analysis, and correlating incident data.
  • Experience with incident triage, vulnerability identification, and remediation recommendations.
  • Familiarity with forensic tools and techniques for collecting artifacts.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to coordinate incident response functions and collaborate with internal and external teams.
  • Stay informed about the latest cyber threats and industry developments.
ROLE REQUIREMENT:
  • Enforce standard operating procedures (SOC) and continuously refine incident response playbooks.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for incident response effectiveness.
  • Strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity resilience, reducing the impact and frequency of cyber incidents.
  • Improve customer trust and confidence by ensuring swift and effective incident response and mitigation
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to SOC analysts and junior cybersecurity professionals.
  • Lead post-incident review meetings and develop lessons-learned reports to enhance response strategies.

Position: Service Pricing Specialist

  • Commerce or Technology Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a managed services environment
ROLE REQUIREMENT:
  • Develop and implement services pricing strategies to maximize profitability with special reference to managed services offerings
  • Provide commercial support/ pricing for proposals and tender submission for managed services.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitive pricing and market trends.
  • Analyze pricing data and develop pricing models.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales and profitability.
  • Prepare quotes, pricing reports and dashboards for management review.
