Position: SENIOR TOWN PLANNER

DEPARTMENT: LAND USE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT CONTROL

Applicants must be in possession of a:

Grade 12

• Accredited academic qualification- in town -and regional planning (B-degree)

• At least 5 years’ relevant town planning experience

Duties will entail:

Town planning functions- Land use management

• Facilitating and managing the processing of land use applications and appeals in a Town planning office

• Management of subordinates

• Municipal Human Settlement projects

• Administrative assistance

• Land use planning and By-law contraventions
