Position: Operations Intern

Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

Remuneration: 6000 stipend per month

Desired Experience & Qualification:
  • 3-6 months experience – nice to have
  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration
Requirements:
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Recently certified ID and qualifications.
  • Must have completed a degree or diploma in business administration (and have qualification certificates)

Minimum requirements:

QUALIFICATION

•         Essential qualification : Master’s degree specialising in Business Management (NQF Level 9) 

ESSENTIAL

·         Minimum 2 years’ experience in higher Education/ Academic 

CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

·         Programme Planning and Administration in collaboration with  Institutional Planning

·         To liaise with academic administrators in relation to academic readiness for each semester.

·         To create and monitor academic administrators progress trackers

·         To the assist the Academic Programme Leader (APL) with the recruitment and appointment of suitable academic deliverables 

·         Facilitation of webinars

·         Assessment development / Marking

·         Stakeholder Engagement, Development and Recognition

·         To coordinate appropriate Community Engagement initiatives and activities

Position: Academic Module Guide Moderators

Location: Durban

Minimum requirements

·        A relevant Masters NQF Level 09 qualification

·        A relevant Honours or Postgraduate Diploma NQF Level 08 qualification

·        2-5 years Academic experience

·        Module Guide Development or Moderation experience

CORE FUNCTIONS:

·        To moderate the module guide content to ensure alignment to the module outcomes and associated assessment criteria as per the requirements provided using the online Curriculum Development and Management System.

Position: Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Kwazulu Natal

Minimum requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related qualification

·       AWS Cloud Practitioner

·       Microsoft Azure Administrator

·       MCSE certification a plus

·       CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification a plus

·       At least 3 years’ experience in Information Technologies, and other related areas.

·       Demonstrable experience in successfully supporting Server, Network and Cloud Infrastructure

CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

·       Administration, maintenance, monitoring, and security of Cloud-Based Infrastructure

·       Backups, Replication & Disaster Recovery

·       Network Security and Performance Monitoring

·       Implementing and Maintaining Security Standards

·       Licensing Administration and Maintenance in respect of Network Systems and Resources

·       Overseeing Google Suite Email solution and Mimecast Email Security infrastructure.

·       Endpoint Management and Server Security

·       Installation and configuration of business applications and custom software.

·       Manages and administers compliance policies, configuration profiles and device enrollment.

·       Manages security and compliance features, such as security baselines, device compliance, conditional access for users, devices and endpoints.

Position: Social Media Specialist

Location: Durban

Minimum requirements:

At least 3-5 years of experience in social media management or a related role.
Proven track record of growing and managing social media accounts.

  • Develop social media strategies and integrated marketing campaigns that align with and support the organisation’s objectives.
  • Monitor competition, prospects, and students to generate relevant and actionable insights that help build the business
  • Plan, implement and execute the social media strategy
  • Increase brand awareness and traffic across social platforms through content development and curation
  • Community engagement i.e. be the champion of social media in the organisation
  • Benchmark, analyse and review social media targets and goals with marketing team.
  • Monitor social media trends and keep abreast of market changes in relation to the Higher Education industry
  • Interact and network on all selected social media channels
