Minimum requirements:
- A B.Eng (NQF level 8) in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of two (2) years at any level of project management.
- A minimum of two (2) years of general engineering work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Defining project scope and objectives.
- Developing detailed project plans, including timelines and milestones
- Resource allocation and task assignment.
- Estimating costs and preparing budget.
- Monitoring and controlling project expenditures.
- Ensuring project is completed within the approved budget.
Position: Senior Financial Officer

Minimum requirements
· A B.Com degree (NQF level 7) in Accounting and/or Management Accounting.
· A minimum of three (3) years’ Fixed Asset Management/Financial Management Accounting experience in a financial environment.
· A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working on a ERP system (e.g. Oracle, KFS).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Asset Management
· Record, retire, transfer, edit, and update assets in the asset register as per approved requests
· Manage asset inquiries promptly and professionally
Allocation and capitalisation of fixed assets
· Review and correct any misallocated asset purchases
· Examine expenses across all campuses to verify and ensure accurate transaction allocations
Position: Laboratory Technician
Location: Mafikeng – Capital City

Minimum requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Computer Science and Information Systems/ IT.
- A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in system and network administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide comprehensive IT support for undergraduate and postgraduate PC laboratories in SCSIS.
2. Provide comprehensive IT support for research computers in SCSIS.
3. Provide comprehensive IT support and innovation for staff of SCSIS.
Position: Research Assistant SDL
Location: Potchefstroom

Minimum requirements
Minimum – 4-year university degree. Preferably Honours or master’s degree.
Responsibilities:
Research support to members of the Research Unit Self-Directed Learning.
Examples of these responsibilities, among others are: Searching articles and books online and in the library; Quality control of in-text references and reference lists; and supporting the Senior Administrative Assistant of the Unit with Unit-related work.
Support in conferences, seminars, and student as well as staff workshops and similar meetings.
