requirements:
- Relevant Honours Degree (Business Management / Records Management / Health & Safety)
- Certificate in ISO 9001/OHS systems lead auditing.
- Financial acumen will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in SHEQ/Security and Facilities management, with at least 3 years on Senior Management level.
- 5 years SHEQ systems auditing experience.
- Experience in the project management for relocating office environments.
- Knowledge of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations as it relates to procurement.
- Stakeholder engagement and proven track record in ability to engage at all occupational levels.
- Contract management.
Key Performance Areas:
- Ensure that the SAWS Health and Safety representatives are appointed and trained accordingly.
- To ensure that the organisation complies with the ISO 9001 Standard and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Perform internal audits on the Total Quality Management systems to identify and correct areas of non-compliance.
- To establish, implement and maintain a Records Management System and File Plan in compliance with the National Archiving Act (Act 43 of 1996 as amended)
- Train employees on the Records Management Policies and the File Plan and monitor and report on compliance.
- Implement and maintain a Knowledge Management System in SAWS, with easy access for all staff in accordance with the approved access rights.

requirements:
- Post-graduate Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent (NQF Level 8)
- Sound knowledge of the Labour Relations, Basic Conditions of Employment, Skills Development, Employment Equity, BBBEE, POPI and SAWS Acts and all other related prescripts.
- Membership of the SA Board for People Practices (SABPP) is an added advantage
- Intermediate proficiency on Microsoft packages like Excel and Powerpoint.
- Certified SAGE Software user.
- At least 10 years Human Capital Management experience, 3 of which must have been at senior management level
- At least 3 years’ experience in Dispute Resolutions – both disciplinary and grievance
management, including CCMA representation - Stakeholder engagement and proven track record in ability to engage at all
occupational levels Public Sector experience would be an advantage.
Key Performance Areas:
- Maintain and improve the Employee Value Proposition that will ensure a highly motivated and engaged workforce.
- To develop a change and organisational design framework aligned to the SAWS’ strategy, to shape appropriate thinking, decisions making and sustainable organisational culture.
- Keep abreast of the development in HCM practices, technology, and economic trends to ensure SAWS conforms regulations and develops appropriate people strategies that safeguard the sustainability of the organisation.
- Prepare and manage the HCM budget
- Perform HR Analytics and submit the requisite HCM reports that enable data-driven insights and inform HCM decisions and programmes.
