Education and Experience:
Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field and (10) years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in the above fields and 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a managerial position.
Experience: A proven track record in human resources management and organisational transformation, particularly within public or international organisations
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of African developmental dynamics and AUDA-NEPAD.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and team management capabilities.

Education and Experience:
Minimum of a High School Certificate and a College Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field.
Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of progressive administrative support in human resource management, including last one (1) year in an Human resource Assistant role in national, regional, international or multinational environment.

Experience in the preparation and implementation of Project Proposal with proven record of securing funding from Development Partners or Private Sector entity.
Or
A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Social Development, Political Science, or a related field, with twelve (12) years’ experience of which seven (7) years are at a specialist/expert level in Policy design, M&E, Project Proposal Writing in public sector institutions or similar organizations nationally, regionally and/or internationally.
Experience in the preparation and implementation of donor-funded projects is required

Under the Director: Social Development – Human Capital and Institutional Development, the Principal Programme Officer, Social and Institutional Development will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of SNVC activities and ARIP activities under A2DSRH programme. S/he will ensure effective collaboration with Regional Economic Communities- RECs, Member States, National Entities, stakeholders, development partners to facilitate the successful implementation of SNVC and ARIP activities.

- Partnership development, resource mobilisation, project management and strategic planning.
- Proven experience in the successful development of partnerships, network building, and/or resource mobilization.
- Extensive experience in clearly communicating results, evidence, and conducting strategic research and policy analysis.
- Experience within public sector, multilateral institutions, and international non-governmental or similar organizations nationally, regionally and/or internationally.
- Candidates should exhibit proven experience of developing and implementing successful programs and initiatives related to social policy, or health, with experience in partnership and stakeholder management.
