Position: Finance Manager

Location: Port Elizabeth

Background/experience:
  • 6 to 8 years’ relevant experience in a financial management environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and in the management of staff
  • Chartered Accountant CA (SA) or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the annual budget and forecasts, ensuring that preparations meet the guidelines and instructions and align with the operational plan.
  • Ensure validity, accuracy, and completeness of financial information.
  • Manage capital expenditure plans, meet output requirements, and contain expenditure.
  • Review reconciliation of balance sheet accounts against the ledger
  • Ensure control and approval of expenses in accordance to approved framework.
  • Review and sign off supplier payments and payroll

Position: General Assistant

Location: East London

Background/experience
  • National Certification (N3) with 0-2 years’ related experience
  • Manufacturing experience would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
  • Clean work area(s) and equipment before and after processing of materials as per SOP and cleaning checklist
  • Perform routine equipment checks and transfer of equipment
  • Collect samples of production area and equipment for testing
  • Control contamination in area by flushing drains and pipes
  • Assist with sorting of defected products and discard/ minimise waste
  • Provide information to assist with campaign preparation
  • Identify and report on operational problems out of specification

Position: Product Handler

Location: East London

Closing date: 5 November 2024

Background/experience:
  • 2 to 4 years’ Warehouse experience (preference in Pharmacare)
  • Minimum of a National Certification (N4 N6)
  • SAP experience advantageous
Responsibilities:
  • Check delivery vehicle and pallets for damage and ensure compliance to GMP.
  • Unpack the truck and sort by supplier and lot numbers.
  • Check shipping manifest and weigh materials; move suspect material to holding place.
  • Complete and verify the goods receipt document.
  • Hand receipt documents over to Administrator to book into BAAN.
  • Dust and pack by hand, and place on pallets, or by means of equipment.
  • Apply quarantine labels and/or location label on the material.
  • Hand over to the Administrator for printing

Position: Chemical Analyst

Location: East London

Closing date: 5 November 2024

Background/experience:
  • National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry with 2+ years experience
  • Laboratory experience
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyse samples according to SOPs
  • Prepare and operate laboratory equipment according to SOPs
  • Perform calibration checks on equipment according to calibration procedure, to ensure accurate results
  • Prepare reagents and solutions for testing
  • Maintain good housekeeping

Position: Regulatory Affairs Assistant

Location: JHB North

Closing date: 04 November 2024

Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Diploma in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or equivalent
  • Experience with administrative work (3 years preferred)
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry/regulatory affairs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Initiate change controls and action items in the eQMS.
  •  Track medicinal samples for registration submissions and development work.
  • Identify, track, and manage free space available in safes.
  • Track internal and off-site archiving.
  • Enter SMF information onto relevant databases.
  • Utilise systems, databases, and trackers to provide accurate information to internal and external customers on request.
