Minimum requirements
· Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
· A minimum of (two) 2 year experience working with large scale food preparation and catering for functions and events.
· A Valid Drivers’ License.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Extensive knowledge of food preparation and the general operation of the catering environment especially catering for functions and events.
Quality control of food from receiving of the stock to the serving of high quality of food.
Execution of administrative tasks.
Effective staff management.
The motivation, training, discipline, conflict management of staff and delegation of staff.
Position: SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Minimum requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Education.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a blended learning environment based on good educational principles.
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven record of system, IT or Learning Design project management.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a work integrated and service-learning support environment.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design and development of WISL services that meet the requirements for the classroom of the future and WIL placement in decentralised facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive system enhancements
- Strategic planning with stakeholders in providing solutions to support the core business and to achieve goals.
- Operationalise implemented solutions.
- Monitor accuracy and testing of WISL system maintenance and updates.
- Ensure coordinated user training.
- Assist in making business decisions relating to WISL implementation, modification, and maintenance.
- Maintaining optimal levels of process performances.
- Liaise with product owners of WISL in different faculties.
- Enhance relationship between users and providers of system and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and ensure user participation in WISL.
- Give input to budget to sustain WISL system.
- Track and communicate status of business initiative solutions to stakeholders.
Position: Residence Officer
Location: Potchefstroom

Minimum requirements:
· Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4).
· A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in management of staff/contractors.
· A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in maintenance of equipment and buildings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify defects during inspections.
· Identify repair work to be done in residence.
· Follow up on Work Orders not concluded or poor quality of work.
· Finding and handling of breakage.
· Updating of maintenance rosters e.g., distribution boards, alarms, roofs & gutters, taps, decalcification, cleaning of water tanks.
· Submission of terrain reports.
Position: Financial Officer

Minimum requirements:
· Diploma/Advanced certificate (NQF Level 6) in Accounting.
· A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in reconciliations.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Reconciliation of major bank deposit accounts: ABSA E-Commerce & ABSA Potchefstroom Campus account.
· Resolve reconciling items.
· Assist with other bank reconciliations.
Position: Senior Project Administrator
Location: Potchefstroom

Minimum requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or an advance diploma (NQF level 7) in Information Management, Project Management / Programme Management
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative environment as well as project monitoring and evaluation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Problem analysis – Prepare Issues Log and Risk Log for UCDG projects and collaborative projects
- Assist the focus area leaders and project members with M&E tools and in supporting them in the use thereof, for tracking against desired project goals.
- Periodic assessment – Liaise with focus area-, project leaders and stakeholders on CREST annual review of University Capacity Development Plan, on the quality of reporting and make recommendations for further improvement and programme success.
- M&E assistance for other UCDP and earmarked grants for successful outcomes.
- Perform other duties as required: financial overview of projects [M&E is limited to spend against implementation.
Position: Business Analyst

Minimum requirements:
A bachelor’s degree/advanced diploma in Information Technology (NQF level 7).
- 2-5 years of experience in understanding all aspects of solution development and implementation (analysis, requirements, design, development, test, implementation, document, and support).
- 2-5 years of experience in knowledge of industry standards and best practices in solution architecture and design.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a bridge between business and the IT teams.
- Builds long-term collaborative relationships across business areas.
- Influences and explains technical details to non-technical stakeholders in a persuasive and convincing manner.
