Minimum requirements:
- NQF Level 6 Diploma/ Advanced Certificate in the field of Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Marketing or Human Resources Management.
- 3 years’ experience in office administration and related systems.
- 3 years’ experience in financial administration and related systems.
- 3 years’ experience in working within higher education.
- 3 years’ experience in online/cloud platforms.
- 3 years’ experience in marketing administration for departmental projects
Responsibilities:
- Management of the Director’s diary and daily schedules ensure that urgent matters are prioritised.
- Assist with requests to the Director, collect and collate information from internal and external stakeholders.
- Secretariat of PsyCaD Management meetings- prepare agendas, papers, and minutes, monitor, and undertake follow up actions.
- Scheduling and coordination of internal and external engagements (virtual/in-person) including sourcing and collecting material to ensure the required information is on hand in an easily accessible format.
- Organise travel and monitor travel arrangements to enable effective use of time and travel budget.
- Handling arrangements for venues, catering for meetings or functions and other ad hoc event planning tasks.
Position: Financial Officer

Minimum requirements:
- Diploma in accounting/ management accounting/financial management (NQF 6).
- Two (2) to three (3) years of job-related experience.
- Strong reconciliation experience.
- Experience in computerised financial systems.
- Computer skills (MS Office and other relevant computer packages, in particular).
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of financial policies, procedures and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial management of the university’s utilities and commercial entities.
- Enforce university policies, procedures, and processes.
- Assist with the preparation of relevant and accurate monthly management accounts as per relevant reporting deadlines.
- Assist with monitoring monthly actual overhead expenditure against budgets, identify variances and ensure that the necessary follow up action is taken.
- Assist with business case viability.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process of the University and Commercial entities.
Position: Administrative Assistant

Minimum requirements:
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Science or relevant field.
- Two years’ experience in supporting students with disabilities.
- Two years’ experience in the training and implementation of assistive technology.
- Two years’ experience in working with concession support.
- Two years’ experience in the use of online/cloud platforms
Responsibilities:
- Rendering disability support to students with disabilities (online, in-person, individual and/or group format).
- Development or revision of protocols for the Disability Unit services to students with disabilities.
- Overseeing assistive device and software acquisition and distribution.
- Completing administration and maintenance of the Disability Unit assistive devices and software across all four campuses.
- Overseeing the usage of equipment by students with disabilities to prevent misuse.
- Providing training in assistive technology.
- Facilitating bursary administrative issues – NSFAS and other funders.
- Communicating with publishers to obtain copyright and electronic books if they are readily available.

Position: Information Librarian

Minimum requirements:
- Minimum of a three-year degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience of information service provision in a higher education institution library or special/research library.
Responsibilities:
- Current awareness: Delivering current awareness and alerting services for the faculty according to subjects, profiles and needs.
- Research Support: Assist the Faculty Librarian in coordinating and facilitating research support to the faculty by the compilation of a faculty research profile and researcher profiles when needed.
- Collection development and maintenance support: Supports and collaborates with academic staff in the development and maintenance of their subject specific teaching and research collection.
- Marketing networking and professional development: Actively promotes the value and importance of library services and resources to all clients.
- Reporting: Compiles accurate library reports e.g. monthly reports and reviews and keeps accurate statistics.
Position: Sous Chef
Campus: Auckland Park Bunting Road Campus

Minimum requirements:
- Diploma (NQF 6)
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional cookery experience in relation to Sous Chef within the hotel industry, preferably in the 5-star/fine dining environment

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the daily production against the requirements.
- Ensure that hygiene requirements in terms of HACCP are adhered to.
- Manage the correct use of equipment and ensure maintenance thereof when necessary.
- Providing good customer service to the relevant stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and/or mentorship to students in the production of food.
- Conduct assessments of students’ portfolios, behaviour and performance to facilitate the WIL process.
