Position: Analyst Intern (x4)

Requirements:

Be in possession of an applicable three (3) year National Diploma / Degree in Sociology, Criminology, or Political Science, recorded on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) on at least an NQF 6 or higher level or relevant qualification in the field of the post.

Core Functions:

Assist with Collation and consolidation of crime and stability-related information in support of analysts with the Division, Crime Intelligence; generate proactive intelligence reports/products (threat and risk assessments and early warnings) on crime and stability issues with SAPS; generate re-active intelligence reports/products (profiles and intelligence analysis) on crime and stability issues within SAPS.

Position: Case Administrative Intern (X2)

Location: Gauteng, Pretoria

Requirements:

Be in possession of an applicable three (3) year National Diploma / Degree in Public Administration / Office Administration / Business Administration / Administrative Management / Office Management and Technology,
recorded on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) on at least a NQF 6 or higher level. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.

Core Functions:

*Assist with: Receiving and registering exhibits; Receiving cases via the Forensic Exhibit Management System from case reception / analysts; Allocating, assigning and dealing of cases to analysts; Typing and scanning of reports; Data capturing; Performing quality checks on the exhibits and supporting documentation of all cases; Assisting with discrepancy cases

Position: Administrative Intern

Location: Eastern Cape, DPCI, East London

Requirements:

Be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in forensic Accounting /Sciences and Technology / Accounting /Auditing /National Diploma in Auditing recorded on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) on at least NQF 6 or higher level.

Core Functions:

Assist with conducting financial analysis about financial investigations

Assist to analyse bank statements using Excel.

Assist to analyse financial reports.

Assist with identifying trends, modus operandi, and red flags on bank statements analysed.

Assist with preparing spreadsheets, graphs, and chats to help illustrate financial trends

Position: Registered Counsellor Intern (X2)

Location: Head Office

Requirements:

Be in possession of Honours/ Registered Counselling Degree in Psychology, Registered with the HPCSA as a Registered Counsellor/ Psychometrics/Psychology, recorded on the National Learner
Record Database (NLRD) on at least a NQF 6 or higher level.

Core Functions:

Assist with: Render psychological evaluation and assessment services which include, among others: Psychometric testing for entry level candidates, specialised units and assessment centres for SMS posts* Facilitate organisational diagnosis services, present Mental Health and other EHW programmes.

Position: Legal Administrative Officer Intern (X4)

Location: Head Office, Pretoria, Gauteng

Core Functions:

Assist in administrative support and Policy Research. Research on Legal aspects in the preparation of Legal opinions rendered. Research and conducting of Legal Environmental Scan. Support on the development of Legal Policy

Position: Artisan Interns (X14)

Requirements:

Be in possession of a three year National Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering (Light

or higher.

Core Functions:

Assist with Installation, Testing, Maintenance and Refurbishment of Radio Communications Equipment; Two way radio in vehicles, building infrastructure sites; Microwave Network Installations

Position: PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERN (X5)

Requirements:

Be in possession of either a National Diploma/ Degree in Construction Project Management or Building related qualification (preferably with project management qualification). Recorded on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) on at least an NQF 6 or higher level.

Assist with construction Project Management tasks (PMBoK) such as Stakeholder engagements, risks assessments, checking of specifications, tracking progress document management, team coordination

Position: Financial Administrative Intern

Requirements:

Be in possession of an applicable three (3) year National Diploma / Degree in B Com Bachelors of Accounting Sciences in Financial Accounting / B Com in Financial Management Administration / Business Management/ Cost Management and Accounting / Public Finance Management and
Administration, recorded on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD) on at least a NQF 6 or higher level or relevant qualification in the field of the post.

Core Functions:

Assist with: Administration tasks regarding finance, pay roll, compile overtime; Applications revise, administer and schedule overtime claims, capture night shift claims, deals with verbal finance enquiries, prepare minutes for overtime inspection committee Administer travel bookings and telephones.

Position: Hospitality Management Interns (X40)

Closing date: 17 May 2024

Requirements:

Be in possession of an applicable N6 Certificate/ National Certificate in Hospitality Management/ or three (3) years National Diploma/ Degree in Hospitality Management / Food and Beverage Management Services, recorded on the National Learner Record Database (NLRD). Must have a letter
from the Institution of Higher learning /TVET for experiential learning.

Core Functions:

Assist with: Planning, preparation and serving of meals; Organising and keeping the kitchen, dining halls and storerooms hygienically clean; contributing to the proper utilization of the resources allocated to the post environment.
